Artesina, Italy 2011

On Saturday 5th February thirteen intrepid students flew to Artesina in the Italian Alps to spend a week skiing. The long trip by air and coach brought the group to their hotel high in the mountains next to the ski lifts. Once the skiing equipment and passes had been sorted, it was off to bed for a good night’s sleep.

Sunday morning and after breakfast the skiing began with our instructors for the week, Vanessa and Frederico. During the following week all of the group made great progress and enjoyed thevariety of skiing in the fabulous weather, some even learning to ski backwards!

The night time activities included Bingo, floodlit skiing and ice skating, Karaoke and Pizza  nights with the final presentation and disco night!

It was a fabulous week with all the group returning home tired and a little sun tanned!
